Lodge of Unity 2019 Annual Masonic Bowls Charity Fund Raising Tournament
The Masonic Bowls Tournament is an annual tournament held by The Lodge of Unity 1510 SC, aimed at raising much needed funds for the most vulnerable and needy people in our society.

The lawn bowls competition was held at the Lusaka Club´s Lawn Bowls Section on 15th of August 2019 and was attended by 24 teams and 96 bowlers in total. The galley was filled with friends and supporters of all ages and from all aspects of society, who filled the back stage with cheers and laughter, making this day not only competitive for players but also a day of fun and enjoyment for all.

The winners were Team Liberty, followed close in second place by Drake & Gorham, while the third was taken by Downpatrick Lodge.

The event managed to raise the total sum after all cost of ZMW 100.000 for charity. A huge expression of gratitude and praise to all our sponsors for their amazing support in making this event once again such a success!

A special thanks also goes to all our volunteers who have been working selflessly with the Lodge of Unity organizing committee to organize this event.

All the proceeds went to the following charity organizations, who are doing great work in supporting those in our society, who are not so privileged as others:

Chibalo Centre for the Aged, Matero Covent, Flyspec, Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood, Little Assisi Orphanage, Palabana Children’s Village Trust and Roma Parish Council
